Nominated Member of County Assembly Hon. Anisa Hope Mwakio has during sitting No. 061,sought a statement from the Chairperson of Administration, Security, Devolution, Public Participation, Community Services, and Drugs Control Committee regarding the status of the medical cover for County Executive staff.

Hon. Anisa, who also chairs the Lands and Human-Wildlife Conflict Resolution Committee, highlighted the absence of medical covers for County Executive staff, which leaves them vulnerable to unforeseen risks in case of emergencies.

She emphasized the importance of medical covers in enabling government employees to work efficiently and ensuring the continuity of their duties.
